Legendary race promoter H.A. “Humpy” Wheeler will serve as the grand marshal and wave the green flag for Sunday’s ARCA season finale at the Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway.

Drivers Justin Lofton and Parker Kligerman are separated by 15 points heading into the deciding weekend. Wheeler, a former president and general manager at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, is now a consultant and has worked with the Rockingham track on a driver development program.

Andy Hillenburg, the Rockingham Speedway president, said he was glad Wheeler accepted the invitation. "Humpy has been a great mentor to help me and Rockingham Speedway get where we are at this point."

The Rockingham track will also honor the grass-roots racers being inducted this weekend at the RacersReunion Memory Lane Hall of Fame in Mooresville, N.C. Details: racersreunion.ning.com/events/racersreunion-memory-lane-hall.

For more information about the weekend's ARCA and accompanying USARacing events or for tickets, please contact the Rockingham Speedway at (910) 205-8800 or visit www.rockinghamspeedway.com.
