Joey Logano will start on the pole for Saturday's Copart 300 Nationwide Series race after turning in the quickest lap in qualifying at Auto Club Speedway.

Logano lapped the two-mile track at 181.164 m.p.h. (39.743 seconds) for his fourth pole of the season and the seventh of his Nationwide career.

Kyle Busch grabbed the outside pole to give Joe Gibbs Racing the front starting row. Busch qualified 0.07 seconds behind Logano.

Last week, Busch put on a dominating performance at Kansas, but after a late- race restart, Logano passed Busch for the lead with four laps remaining. It was the fourth time this season that Logano has taken the lead away from his JGR teammate with less than 10 laps to go and then go on to victory.

Busch, the winner of the last two Nationwide races at California, is suffering from flu-like symptoms. Denny Hamlin is on standby if Busch is unable to compete.

Justin Allgaier qualified third, followed by Scott Speed and Brian Vickers.

David Gilliland, Brad Keselowski, Mike Bliss, David Ragan and Kevin Harvick completed the top-10.

Stanton Barrett, Jarit Johnson and Casey Atwood failed to qualify.

Today's 300-mile is scheduled to begin around 4:30 p.m. (et).
