Detroit Pistons (2-3) at Orlando Magic (4-1), 7 p.m.

The Orlando Magic look to avenge their only loss of the season to the Detroit Pistons this evening, when the two clubs change scenes and square off at Amway Arena.

The Magic suffered an 85-80 loss at Detroit on Tuesday and Dwight Howard was held in check, posting only eight points and five rebounds in less than 17 minutes of action. Howard then netted 17 of his 25 points in the third quarter of Wednesday's 122-100 triumph versus Phoenix at home.

Ryan Anderson had 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Jameer Nelson added 16 points and 10 assists for Orlando, which buried 12-for-23 from beyond the arc and got 15 points out of Mickael Pietrus.

Miami Heat (23-22) at Detroit Pistons (15-29), 8 p.m.

A pair of disappointing teams get together Friday evening at The Palace of Auburn Hills, where the Miami Heat will pay a visit to the homestanding Detroit Pistons.

Miami has lost two in a row and opened a three-game road trip with Wednesday's 111-103 setback at Toronto's Air Canada Centre. Dwyane Wade had 35 points and 10 assists for the Heat, who played the majority of the game without forward Michael Beasley. The former Kansas State standout suffered a hyperextended right knee in the first quarter.

"Tonight they just had more bullets than we did," Wade said. "They are a tough team, especially at home. They always have guys that step up and make big shots when it counts here."

Man threatening to `kill all the Jews' taken off Miami flight, arrested

An Ohio man who became loud and disruptive aboard a flight from Miami to Detroit -- at one point shouting ``kill all the Jews'' -- was removed from the airplane and taken into custody by Miami-Dade police.

The man arrested was identified as Mansor Mohammad Asad, 43. Police say he caused a ``disturbance,'' forcing the pilot to decide to return to the jet-bridge.

When Asad was taken off the plane to be interviewed by police, he threatened officers, made racial comments and charged an officer, authorities said.

Wade leads Heat to 92-65 win over Pistons

Dwyane Wade scored 22 points and Jermaine O'Neal added a double-double as the Miami Heat routed the Detroit Pistons 92-65 Friday night.

Heat forward Michael Beasley missed his first game of the season with a hyperextended right knee, and Miami got another scare when O'Neal went down with a knee injury in the first minute. O'Neal, though, returned for the second quarter and finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Udonis Haslem added 16 points for the Heat, which snapped a two-game losing streak, and Dorell Wright scored 12.

Orlando Magic (31-16) at Detroit Pistons (15-30), 6 p.m.

The Orlando Magic are back on top in the Southeast Division and hope to stay there when they pay a visit to the Detroit Pistons Sunday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

The Magic are a half-game ahead of Atlanta in the division standings after beating the Hawks, 104-86, on Saturday from Amway Arena. Dwight Howard had 31 points and pulled down 19 rebounds, while Rashard Lewis added 17 points for the Magic, who have won two in a row and five of their last six games.

"I thought other than the first few minutes of the game, obviously, we were pretty good and I thought the second half was probably our most consistent half in a long time," Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy said. "It wasn't like an explosion and a big run all at once, I thought we just played solid defense and made solid plays."
