Rookie DeJuan Blair scored 28 points and hit a layup with 1:01 remaining in the final quarter, boosting the San Antonio Spurs to a 95-93 preseason win over the Miami Heat.

George Hill added 12 points and Michael Finley scored 10 for the Spurs. Blair finished 11-of-13 from the field.

Daequan Cook tallied 20 points off the bench, going 4-of-9 from three-point range, for the Heat. Miami, which fell to 0-3 in the preseason, also received 17 points from Mario Chalmers and 16 from Michael Beasley.

Several formidable players rested and missed the game, including San Antonio's Tim Duncan and Miami's Dwyane Wade.
