North Carolina receiver Ryan Switzer is on the preseason All-ACC team, which was released on Wednesday morning. Switzer, a sophomore who returned five punts for touchdowns last season, made the team as a specialist.

He is UNC's only player on the preseason All-ACC team. Media members covering the ACC voted on the team during the ACC's annual media days earlier this week.

Switzer last season averaged 20.9 yards per punt return, which led the nation. While Switzer returned five punts for touchdowns – all of those coming in the final five games – no other player in the country returned more than two punts for touchdowns.

Switzer was one of four sophomores to be named preseason All-ACC. The others: Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston, Virginia Tech cornerback Kendall Fuller and Florida State kicker Roberto Aguayo.
