Jewell Loyd, 5-foot-10, junior guard, Notre Dame: Averaged 18.6 points and 6.5 rebounds as a sophomore for the 37-1 Irish, whose loss was in the national title game.
Breanna Stewart, 6-4 junior forward, Connecticut: Along with Loyd, they are the 10th and 11th players to be unanimous selections on the AP preseason team. Averaged 19.4 points last season.
Tiffany Mitchell, 5-9 junior guard, South Carolina: Last season’s SEC Player of the Year, she is first Gamecocks preseason All-American. Mitchell, out of Providence Day in Charlotte, averaged 15.5 points and 5.6 rebounds last season.
Elizabeth Williams, 6-3 senior center, Duke: Averaged 13.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.1 blocks last season. She is the third Blue Devils player to earn first-team honors.
Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, 5-11 senior forward, Connecticut: Missed 12 games last season (elbow, mononucleosis) but came back to earn spot on Final Four all-tournament team.
