Former Duke standout Amanda Blumenherst will be inducted into the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame, the WGCA announced.
The induction ceremony will take place Dec. 9 at Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas. Blumenherst becomes the 64th member of the Hall of Fame.
Blumenherst, the first three-time Division I Player of the Year, was a four-time Rolex Junior All-America and registered 10 tournament titles over the last three years of her junior career.
Blumenherst led Duke to 19 team victories, three ACC Championships and two NCAA titles.
Blumenherst majored in history along with a minor in English and theatre studies. She was a four-time All-American Scholar and became the second Duke student-athlete selected a three-time first team Academic All-American.

Upon arriving to Cameron Indoor Stadium for home games, Duke women’s basketball season ticket holders should check in at the promotions table located in the Hall of Honor. These fans will be eligible for different Duke prizes as they reach the following benchmarks:
• Season ticket holders who attend three home games will receive a Duke basketball lanyard.
• After attending six home games, season ticket holders can claim a Duke sling bag.
• Those who attend nine home contests will earn a Duke car flag.
• Duke season ticket holders who come out to 12
home games will receive a Duke basketball.

N.C. State: The 13th-ranked rifle team heads to Akron, Ohio, on Saturday and Morgantown, W. Va., on Sunday.
State will compete against No. 9 Ohio State and No. 14 Akron on Saturday, before taking on top-ranked West Virginia on Sunday. Saturday’s match will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday’s match is begin 8 a.m.
ECU: William Bissett and James Ling of England along with Ronny Georgi of Germany each signed a National Letter of Intent to attend ECU as a member of the men’s tennis team beginning with the 2015 fall semester.
