DURHAM - David Cutcliffe isn't staging a spring scrimmage. The first-year Duke football coach plans to produce a competitive game in a festive atmosphere today, when there will be a lot of new in Blue Devils' hue.

In addition to a new coaching staff, a new philosophy and new schemes, the team also will make the program's first Blue Devil Walk, with the team gathering at 10:30 a.m. to parade from the Chapel to Wallace Wade Stadium.

"I'm putting people on notice around here, we've come to play football,'' Cutcliffe said. "If they are smart they'll get their tickets and enjoy a great atmosphere. We are going to play quality football and compete like a good team should compete."
