RALEIGH - Starting running back Jamelle Eugene will miss his second-straight football game because of an ankle injury when N.C. State plays host to William & Mary on Saturday, but quarterback Russell Wilson has not been ruled out of the game.

Wilson, who suffered a Grade 3 concussion in the Aug. 28 opener at South Carolina, is listed as questionable in the injury report released to the media Thursday about an hour after the end of practice.

A player listed as questionable typically is considered to have a 50 percent chance of playing. In his only media availability Thursday, NCSU coach Tom O'Brien said before the injury report was released that Daniel Evans will start at quarterback.

"And then we'll see where we go from there," O'Brien said.

O'Brien didn't specifically address Wilson's status and declined to discuss injuries, saying the information would be released later. Wilson returned to practice in a limited capacity earlier in the week.

In what could be a significant loss for the Wolfpack, defensive end Willie Young is questionable because of an ankle injury. Young led N.C. State in tackles for loss last season.

As expected, tight end Anthony Hill is out this week with a strained chest muscle.

Saturday's game time will remain unchanged, as N.C. State officials monitoring tropical storm Hanna have decided to go ahead with the 6 p.m. kickoff for the Wolfpack's home opener.
