RANKINGS: Maryland is No. 5; N.C. State is not ranked.

Maryland (28-2, 12-1) has won six in a row and has secured at least a second seed, its highest since 1993, in the ACC Tournament from March 6-9. The Terps are led by junior guard Kristi Toliver, who leads the conference in scoring, and junior forward Crystal Langhorne, the program's all-time leading scorer (2,103).

N.C. State (18-10, 6-7) hosts its final home game, which is senior day for senior Khadijah Whittington. She is the school's second all-time career rebounder and is averaging 17.2 points and 11.2 rebounds this season.

The Wolfpack owns the best scoring defense in the conference, allowing teams just 55.3 points per game.

KEYS TO THE GAME

WOLFPACK WINS IF IT: Dominates inside and limits the Terps on the boards. ... Involves a third scoring threat to help Whittington and junior Shayla Fields.

TERPS WIN IF THEY: Push pace with the third-ranked scoring offense in the nation. ... Keep shooting a nation-best 50.1 percent from field as they have averaged.
