After his first night of workouts at the NBA pre-draft camp Tuesday in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., North Carolina junior Danny Green told the Web site InsideCarolina.com that he likely will only stay in the draft if he is a first-round draft pick.

"I mean, if I'm going to be projected to go in the second round, then it's probably going to be in my best interests to go back to school," Green told the Web site. "That's what Coach [Williams] is saying. Coach doesn't want me to go unless I'm guaranteed a contract."

Green indicated that he wasn't part of the same extensive process that Williams went through with Tyler Hansbrough, Ty Lawson and Wayne Ellington before the latter two underclassmen decided to enter their names into the draft without hiring an agent. Hansbrough opted to return to school; Lawson, Ellington and Green have until June 16 to pull out.

"Coach ... I guess he didn't think I had it in my mind then, so he didn't think that I was going to even think about going or trying to 'test the waters,' so he didn't include me in that, I guess," Green told the Web site. "I don't know."

HANNERS TO JOIN BOBCATS: Longtime Larry Brown assistant Dave Hanners is joining the Charlotte Bobcats. Hanners was at the coach's side Tuesday watching drills at the NBA pre-draft camp.
