GREENSBORO - Wake Forest tailback Josh Adams obviously made a big impression during his freshman football season at Wake Forest last fall.As a result, the former Cary High School standout has been named to the preseason All-Atlantic Coast Conference football team for 2008.In a vote of media members who cover the league, Adams even received two votes for preseason player of the year. Clemson quarterback Cullen Harper earned the honor, receiving 34 of 64 votes.Also named to the preseason team were receiver Hakeem Nicks and return specialist Brandon Tate of North Carolina, as well as linebacker Aaron Curry, cornerback Alphonso Smith and kicker Sam Swank of Wake Forest.Every school was represented on the all-league team except Duke, Miami and N.C. State.
