Richmond, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - Marissa Steen fired a 6-under 66 on Sunday as she rolled to a 4-stroke win at the Eagle Classic.
Steen collected her third win of the season on the Symetra Tour at 14-under- par 202.
Demi Runas (67) finished in second place at 10-under, while Madison Pressel (67) took third at minus-9.
Lauren Doughtie (70) ended alone in fourth at 8-under 208.
Steen entered the final round tied for the lead with Nicole Vandermade and both players traded pars over the first three holes before Steen went ahead for good with back-to-back birdies at the fourth and fifth.
Vandermade answered with a birdie at the sixth to pull back within one, but Steen responded with three straight gains from the eighth to jump to 13-under.
Steen rolled from there as she added another birdie at the 13th and parred her final five holes to cruise to the win.
Vandermade, meanwhile, recorded a pair of bogeys and a double-bogey during her back nine to card a 4-over 76 and fall all the way into a tie for 15th place at 4-under-par 212.
