Finally a winner, Wie jumps to 12th in world rankings

Michelle Wie climbed to No. 12 in the world rankings after capturing her first LPGA Tour win on Sunday.

Wie, 20, finally broke through for her maiden title -- a two-shot win over Paula Creamer at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational -- and moved up three places in the rankings.

It isn't her highest career position.

Bo Bae Song leaps 25 spots in world rankings

Bo Bae Song captured her first LPGA Tour win on Sunday and leapt 25 places in the world rankings to 29th.

The top 11 players in the rankings remained the same as last week, with No. 1 Lorena Ochoa followed by Jiyai Shin, Suzann Pettersen, Yani Tseng, Cristie Kerr, Paula Creamer, Angela Stanford, Ai Miyazato, Karrie Webb, In Kyung Kim and Na Yeon Choi.

Anna Nordqvist moved up one spot to 12th, dropping Song-Hee Kim to 13th, while Catriona Matthew, Michelle Wie and Eun-Hi Jee remained 14th through 16th respectively.

Nordqvist into top 10 in women's rankings

Anna Nordqvist's victory on Monday at the LPGA Tour Championship jumped her six spots into the top 10 of this week's women's world rankings.

Nordqvist, this year's LPGA Champion, came in seventh this week following a Monday finish at the final regular-season event in 2009.

Lorena Ochoa won her fourth Player of the Year title and remained in the top spot, followed by Jiyai Shin and Suzann Pettersen. Cristie Kerr and Yani Tseng both moved up one to complete the top five.

Kim, Wie move up in women's world rankings

In Kyung Kim and Michelle Wie finished one-two at the Dubai Ladies Masters on Saturday and that helped both players climb two spaces to 11 and 10, respectively, in this weeks's women's world rankings.

Lorena Ochoa held on to the top spot and was followed by Jiyai Shin and Suzann Pettersen. Yani Tseng and Cristie Kerr exchanged places with Tseng up to fourth.

Kerr was followed by Paula Creamer, Anna Nordqvist, Ai Miyazato and Angela Stanford. Wie was up two to 10 and was followed by Kim.
