John Cook came from behind with a four- under 68 Sunday to win the Administaff Small Business Classic to win by two strokes over Jay Haas and Bob Tway.

Cook, who won for the third time on the Champions Tour, finished the victory at 11-under-par 205.

"I thought 12-under would win," Cook admitted. "Wind was coming from a different direction and it was tricky. I've had trouble finishing events this year and I did that today."

Cook coasts to win at Schwab Cup Championship

John Cook closed with a three-under 69 Sunday to win the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship by five strokes.

Cook, who had set the record for lowest 54-hole score in a 72-hole event in Champions Tour history, completed the season's final tournament at 22-under- par 266.

He also set the tournament's 72-hole scoring record. The previous record of 268 was set by Jim Thorpe in 2003, then matched by Thorpe in 2007 and Andy Bean last year.

Blackmar rallies for first Champions Tour win

Phil Blackmar fired a seven-under 64 Sunday to come from behind and win the AT&T Championship by a single stroke after Jay Haas bogeyed the final hole.

Blackmar got into the clubhouse at 10-under-par 203, then had to wait for the final three groups to finish.

Andy Bean, playing alongside Haas, could have forced a playoff with a closing birdie, but he parred the last to shoot 70.

Bean joins Cochran in AT&T lead

Andy Bean carded his second straight four- under 67 to join Russ Cochran in the lead Saturday after two rounds of the AT&T Championship.

Cochran carded a three-under 68 as he and Bean finished 36 holes at eight- under-par 134.

Jay Haas also shot a 67 to move into third place at minus-seven.

Watson leads Couples by two at Hualalai

Kaupulehu-Kona, HI (Sports Network) - Tom Watson carded a six-under 66 Saturday to take a two-stroke lead after two rounds of the Mitsubishi Electric Championship.

Watson, who missed three short putts on the front nine, had nine birdies in the second round at Hualalai Golf Club. He completed 36 holes at 15-under 129.

Fred Couples, who is making his Champions Tour debut, kept pace with Watson as he posted a 66 of his own. He is alone in second at 13-under-par 131.
