Bo Bae Song earns first win in Japan

Bo Bae Song closed with a four-under 68 Sunday to cruise to a three-stroke win at the Mizuno Classic.

Song, who collected her first LPGA Tour title, finished the 54-hole event at 15-under-par 201.

Women's world No. 1 Lorena Ochoa rallied with an eight-under 64 Sunday to share second place at minus-12. She was joined there by Hee Young Park (68) and Brittany Lang (68).

Shin leads Wie, Creamer by three in Mexico

Player of the Year front-runner Jiyai Shin took a three-shot lead Friday over Michelle Wie and Paula Creamer with a six-under 66 at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational.

Shin, a three-time winner this season and the tour's leading money winner, moved to 11-under 133 after two rounds at Guadalajara Country Club.

Wie also shot a 66 and Creamer had a 69 to share second place at eight-under 136.

O'Hair takes lead at Bay Hill

Bay Hill was so penal on Friday that most players figured it would be difficult for anyone to shoot a low number and separate themselves from the pack. Sean O'Hair apparently didn't get the memo.

O'Hair opened with three straight birdies and didn't drop a shot until his final hole, which gave him a 5-under 65 for a three-shot lead over Jason Gore heading at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando, Fla.

Tiger Woods remained in the mix for a sixth title at Bay Hill, courtesy of a short game that turned a mediocre round into a 69.

Mickelson gets best of Woods

Thousands of fans caused a bottleneck at the entrance to the HSBC Champions golf tournament in Shanghai, all of them eager to see the Sunday showdown at Sheshan International between Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods.

The Shanghai surprise? Woods turned out to be merely a spectator, too.

Mickelson built a six-shot lead over the world's No. 1 player on the front nine, then rallied to beat another familiar foe, Ernie Els, with two clutch putts for a one-shot victory in the season's final World Golf Championship.

Woods takes control, leads BMW by seven

Tiger Woods built a seven-shot lead with a 9-under 62 that broke the course record at Cog Hill and tied the tournament record at the BMW Championship in Lemont, Ill.

Woods was three shots behind when he stood on the sixth tee Saturday. Nine holes later, he was five shots ahead and still rolling. The signature shot was a 3-wood from just over 300 yards that stopped 10 feet away for an eagle at No. 9.

Woods was at 16-under 197, seven shots clear of Brandt Snedeker (66) and Marc Leishman (68).
