Kat McDonald of Wakefield High, the N.C. Soccer Coaches Association player of the year, leads the All-Metro girls’ soccer team.
The area had one of its most successful seasons with Panther Creek winning the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A title, Carrboro winning in 2A and Raleigh Charter taking the 1A.
The all-star club also includes N.C. Gatorade player of the year Brianna Pinto of Jordan.
