The top five teams in the News & Observer wrestling rankings for the greater Triangle area are unchanged entering this week’s dual-team playoffs.

With the regular season now over, we reassessed each team’s dual-team schedule for wins as well as close and quality losses. Athens Drive, which made it into the 4A playoffs as a wild-card, moves into the top 15 after defeating Riverside and Northwood on Saturday in the Big Eight/PAC-6/SWAC Challenge.

Only the top two teams in each conference make the post-season dual tournament, so there will be no playoff berth for No. 7 Panther Creek and No. 15 Northwood.
