Basketball conference tournament wrap-up

There were fewer conference tournaments this year than in seasons past.

With winter weather interrupting games in two of the last three weeks of the season, many conference have too many regular-season games left to do a conference tournament. The Cap Eight 4A, Greater Neuse 4A, Southwest Wake 4A, Eastern Plains 2A, Northern Carolina 2A and Carolina 1A all had to scrap their annual tournaments.

Eastern Plains 2A (NCISAA): Cary Christian boys and Halifax Academy girls win

Triangle Independent 3A (NCISAA): Ravenscroft boys and girls win

Big Eight 3A: Chapel Hill girls and Southern Durham boys win

Two Rivers 3A: Triton boys and girls win
