Cap Eight all-conference girls soccer

Leesville Road reclaimed the Cap Eight title this year, trailed by Sanderson before both teams succumbed to eventual NCHSAA 4A East runner-up Wilmington Hoggard in the state playoffs.

Coaches selected the following athletes for the 2014 all-conference team:

Broughton: Kelly Ann Evans, Lilly Schneider, Lia Slaton, Kathryn Upchurch

Heritage: Erin Gerner, Naara Mendez, Allison Metts, Micaela Strickland

Leesville Road: Mary Kate Bowers, McKenna Crenshaw, Rachel Golden, Madison Hoffmann, Zaria Maynard, Megan Purich, Bayley Rigsbee, Sydney Wooten

Millbrook: Alexa Asher, Cailyn Boch, Claire Griffiths, Paige Griffiths, Colleen Markey

Sanderson: Mary Boylan, Kiley Coster, Katie Crawford, Grayson Montgomery, Amy Owens, Anna Sheridan
