4 stars - ZACH BROWN * LB * 6-1 * 212 Played at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va.; is rated the No. 12 player in the country by rivals.com.

3 stars - JONATHAN COOPER * OG * 6-3 * 304 Also played defensive end at Wilmington Hoggard, which won the state 4-A state championship.

4 stars - QUINTON COPLES * DE * 6-6 * 245 Played at Kinston High and Hargrave Military Academy; had a sack in the U.S. Army All-American game.

4 stars - HERMAN DAVIDSON * DB * 6-2 * 215 Finished last season with 71 tackles, six INTs and two fumble recoveries at Long Beach (Calif.) Polytechnic.

4 stars - KEVIN REDDICK * LB * 6-3 * 230 Recorded 189 tackles, eight sacks, six forced fumbles and four blocked punts as a senior while leading New Bern to the state 4-AA title.

2 stars - RANDY WHITE * TE * 6-5 * 240 Senior season at Virginia (Briston, Va.) High ended prematurely because of shoulder surgery.

4 stars - MELVIN WILLIAMS* * S * 6-0 * 205 Enrolled at UNC in January after attending Coffeyville (Kan.) JC. Played high school ball in Tennessee.

4 stars - CHRISTIAN WILSON * TE * 6-3 * 235 Played LB and RB while leading McKees Rocks (Pa.) Montour to a 12-1 record last season. Ranked by scout.com as the No. 7 tight end prospect.

4 stars - JAMAL WOMBLE * RB * 5-10 * 220 Lived part of his life in Teachey, N.C.; rushed for 1,787 yards last season at Buena (Arizona) High.
