I felt that those were the players we needed to bring in to continue to establish the program ... We need his help on the offensive line because of graduations and issues that we had."

1 Star-- MIKE BROWN -TE -6-4 -230 Two-year basketball starter at Reidsville and former offensive lineman can block and catch.

1 Star-- JOSH CLARK -OL -6-4 -265 Recruited by Navy and Vanderbilt, North Gaston's Clark provides another big blocker.

2 Stars-- ALLEN CROWDER -DL -6-2 -260 All-state selection had 102 tackles and eight sacks as a senior at Eastern Alamance. Benches 405 pounds.

2 Stars-- DALTON FAULDS -OG -6-3 -258 One of the top 25 guards by ESPN Insider averaged 4.1 pancake blocks St. Augustine (Fla.) Nease.

2 Stars-- ANTHONY GARNER -DL -6-1 -290 Had eight sacks in four games as a senior at Siler City Jordan-Matthews before leg injury ended his season.

1 Star-- GRANT HARNER -OL -6-6 -300 Led Jacksonville (Fla.) Bartram Trail to consecutive district championships.

2 Stars-- JOSH JORDAN -QB -6-4 -210 Threw for 1,809 and 20 touchdowns as a senior at St. Amant, La., including a 392-yard, seven-touchdown performance.

2 Stars-- MAX JOYNER -LB -6-2 -191 Versatile hometown Greenville Rose defensive back was part of three 4-A state championships and was an early commitment to the Pirates.

1 Star-- RAHKEEM MORGAN -DB -6-0 -180 Threw 22 touchdown passes and rushed for 1,173 yards as a senior at Asheville High after starring as a wide receive as a sophomore.

2 Stars-- LEONARD PAULK -CB -5-11 -180 Columbia (S.C.) Richland Northeast star had two sacks, two picks and 13 pass deflections as senior.

2 Stars-- JUSTIN VENABLE -S -6-1 -185 Had four picks and 23 pass break-ups as a senior at Southeast Guilford.

2 Stars-- JOE WOMACK -WR -6-1 -195 Rushed for 1,378 yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior at Jacksonville Northside.
