Charlotte Bobcats announce 8-game exhibition schedule

The Charlotte Bobcats’ eight-game exhibition schedule will include four games in North Carolina – one of the the annual Cool School Field Trip – and a matchup with the NBA champion Miami Heat at Kansas City, Mo.

Regional home games will be Oct. 8 in Asheville against the Atlanta Hawks and Oct. 19 in Greensboro against the Dallas Mavericks. Tickets for both games can be purchased at the individual arena and Time Warner Cable Arena box offices, at or via Ticketmaster. Ticket prices start at $15 in Asheville and $10 in Greensboro.

The Bobcats will play twice at Charlotte’s Time Warner Cable Arena, hosting the Philadelphia 76ers on Oct. 17 and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Oct. 24. The Oct. 17 contest will tip off at 11 a.m. and is a reward for middle school students, teachers and administrators from across the Carolinas who display outstanding achievement and character.

Oct. 12: at Milwaukee Bucks, Bradley Center, Milwaukee, Wis., 8:30 p.m.

Oct. 15: at Cleveland Cavaliers, Canton Memorial Civic Center, Canton, Ohio, 7 p.m.

Oct. 17: vs. Philadelphia 76ers, Time Warner Cable Arena, Charlotte, 11 a.m.

Oct. 19: vs. Dallas Mavericks, Greensboro Coliseum, Greensboro, 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 24: vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Time, Warner Cable Arena, Charlotte, 7 p.m.

Oct. 25: at New York Knicks, Madison Square Garden, New York, 7:30 p.m.
