Charlotte Bobcats announce 8-game exhibition schedule

The Charlotte Bobcats’ eight-game exhibition schedule will include four games in North Carolina – one of the the annual Cool School Field Trip – and a matchup with the NBA champion Miami Heat at Kansas City, Mo.
Regional home games will be Oct. 8 in Asheville against the Atlanta Hawks and Oct. 19 in Greensboro against the Dallas Mavericks. Tickets for both games can be purchased at the individual arena and Time Warner Cable Arena box offices, at bobcats.com or via Ticketmaster. Ticket prices start at $15 in Asheville and $10 in Greensboro.
The Bobcats will play twice at Charlotte’s Time Warner Cable Arena, hosting the Philadelphia 76ers on Oct. 17 and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Oct. 24. The Oct. 17 contest will tip off at 11 a.m. and is a reward for middle school students, teachers and administrators from across the Carolinas who display outstanding achievement and character.
