Miami Heat's Mario Chalmers suspended for Charlotte Bobcats game after foul on Dirk Nowitzki

Miami Heat point guard Mario Chalmers has been suspended for Saturday's game against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Miami Heat point guard Mario Chalmers has been suspended for Saturday's game against the Charlotte Bobcats after throwing a forearm at Dirk Nowitzki's head in Friday's game versus the Dallas Mavericks.

The NBA announced the one-game suspension on Saturday.

Chalmers swung his elbow at Nowitzki's head during the final quarter of Friday's game in Miami. He was called for a flagrant-two foul and ejected for the rest of the game.

Chalmers responded to the suspension on Saturday tweeting that he's not a "dirty player." "It's clear that my arm was being held and that's w(h)at caused me to hit dirk," Chalmers tweeted. "Enough is enough man."

The Heat are playing the Bobcats in Charlotte on Saturday night. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
