Observations

• A significant move in the Bobcats getting into playoff position happened in February 2013, when the Magic agreed to trade power forward Josh McRoberts to Charlotte. The Magic was in rebuilding mode, and wasn’t using McRoberts much.
• The Bobcats’ 14 road victories so far are a franchise record.

Tap-ins

• The Bobcats lead the NBA in defensive rebound percentage, grabbing 77.4 percent of opponent misses.
• This is the third of four games against the Magic; Orlando is in Charlotte on April 4.

Victories against the Southeast Division have been rare this season. The Bobcats are a combined 2-9 versus Miami, Atlanta, Washington and Orlando.
