Matchup to Watch

Chris Bosh vs. Bismack Biyombo: With all the Heat’s other stars “injured,” Bosh will draw a ton of defensive attention from the Bobcats.

Observations

• LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Mario Chalmers and Ray Allen are all expected to sit this one out. So ESPN’s decision to nationally televise this game might have been a bit premature.
• Once the Heat’s chase of a record winning streak ended in Chicago, Miami started shutting people down to get them healthy for the playoff run.
• The Bobcats have won five of their past six home games, starting with an upset of the Boston Celtics on March 12.

Tap-ins

Byron Mullens (sore ankle) and Jeff Taylor (sore plantar fascia) both missed Wednesday’s victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. The Bobcats didn’t practice Thursday.

• Josh McRoberts had a career-high 16 rebounds in the 76ers game.

Did you know?

The Bobcats are 5-7 in games power forward McRoberts has started.
