Blackhawks top Hurricanes in OT

Brandon Saad’s goal at 1:44 of overtime lifted the Chicago Blackhawks to a 4-3 comeback victory Saturday over the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena.

Brock McGinn scored twice and Jeff Skinner picked up his eighth of the season for the Canes, who led 2-0 after the first period and 3-1 after two. The Canes had five former Blackhawks in the game, including goalie Scott Darling, forward Marcus Kruger and defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk, all in their first season with Carolina.
