Canes reassign Jordan to Checkers
The Carolina Hurricanes on Monday assigned defenseman Michal Jordan to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League for a conditioning stint.
Jordan, 25, has played in 10 games with the Hurricanes this season. He is in his sixth professional season and has scored two goals and earned four assists in 53 career NHL games with the Hurricanes.
Jordan has played in 297 career AHL regular-season games with Charlotte, scoring 20 goals and earning 72 assists (92 points).
