Canes' Alumni Fantasy Game set for April 6

The Carolina Hurricanes will hold their third annual Alumni Fantasy Game on April 6. Ten former Hurricanes players currently are scheduled to participate and others are expected to commit. Fans participating in the game will dress in the Hurricanes' locker room.

The Carolina Hurricanes on Monday nnounced their third annual Alumni Fantasy Game would be held Sunday, April 6 at PNC Arena.

Ten former Hurricanes players currently are scheduled to participate: Ron Francis, Bret Hedican, Glen Wesley, Bates Battaglia, Jesse Boulerice, Aaron Ward, Shane Willis, Robert Kron, Steve Rice and Tripp Tracy. Others are expected to commit.

Fans participating in the game will dress in the Hurricanes’ locker room. Canes play-by-play announcer John Forslund will call the game, which will have three running-clock periods and full intermissions. There will be no admission charge to see the game, which will have a 3 p.m. start.

All proceeds benefit the Carolina Hurricanes Kids ‘N Community Foundation. Information is available at carolinahurricanes.com
