Water levels are extremely high after the hurricane. Fishing is going well, however, with lots of crappie being caught in the submerged brush piles on regular live minnows. Bass are doing much better as well, thanks to the cooler waters. Most of the bass bite is coming off of the topwater on soft plastic worms. Contact: The Tackle Box 919-557-8255; www.wmi.org.
