Bass fishing is improving in the waters. They are being caught on crank baits and swim baits, between 8-12 feet of water. Crappies are out at 12 feet of water biting on minnows. White bass are timid in the mouths of the creek but are biting on blade baits and fishing spoons. Out in about 10-20 feet, catfish are coming in dip bait, large minnows and nightcrawlers. The bite of bass fishing remains slow. Small reports of bass are coming in, with them biting on soft plastics and crank baits. Also serving as a hit or miss in the waters are stripers.
