Oak Island Pier
Black drum, flounder, Spanish mackerel, pompano, spade fish and whiting can be found. The preferred bottom bait for flouder is shrimp, squid and mud minnows. For trout, it’s live shrimp.

Large mouth bass is slow but are biting on the higher end of the lake on crank baits, plastic worms, jigs and topwater baits. White bass is biting on S turns with topwater baits and blade baits.
