Black drum, Spanish mackerel, pompano, spade fish, whiting are doing well. Trout fishing is slowing on live shrimp. The cooler water is improving the fishing, but there is little change from last week.
Fishing slow, but bass picking up. They are biting crank bait and jigs at 8-12 ft. Bigger bass can be found in the upper lake, but more bass are at the lower part. Crappie is biting at 8-12 feett. on minnows in the piles. White bass is schooling. Catfish bite is good with night crawlers, minnows and liver.
