VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- The Carolina RailHawks fell 1-0 to the Whitecaps on Thursday night in the first leg of Carolina's quarterfinal playoff matchup at Vancouver.

Randy Edwini-Bonsu scored the winning goal for Vancouver in the 77th minute.

The RailHawks return to WakeMed Soccer Park on Sunday at 5 p.m. needing a two-goal victory over the Whitecaps in order to advance to the USL-1 semifinals for the first time in club history.
