DeCock: College baseball season nears merciful end for Triangle teams

After sending two teams to the College World Series in 2013, college baseball fizzled locally in 2014 thanks in large part to NC State’s implosion. Only North Carolina and Campbell made the NCAA tournament, and even the Tar Heels failed to host a regional for only the second time in eight years.
