Shrine Bowl combines at Apex High School, Alexander Central High School in Taylorsville and Butler High School in Matthews drew a total of 900 athletes. The participants competed in hopes of landing spots on the North Carolina roster for the 2008 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. The all-star game will be played at 1 p.m. Dec. 20 at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C. Here are the top performances:
