To accommodate the anticipated crowd, N.C. Central will move its home football game against longtime rival North Carolina A&T to Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, essentially making it an away game for NCCU.

The game will kick off Oct. 4 at 5 p.m.

Memorial Stadium seats up to 24,000 fans, compared with a capacity of 10,000 at N.C. Central's O'Kelly-Riddick Stadium

A crowd of 19,320 saw last year's game at Aggie Stadium in Greensboro. Since 1994, the average attendance for the rivalry game is 35,478, including a high of 48,001 at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh in 1997.

N.C. Central's 27-22 victory over the Aggies last year was marred by a postgame brawl involving players on both sides.
