closeThe U.S. Anti-Doping Agency says BMX rider Michael Kapes, 20, of Florida has accepted a two-year suspension after testing positive for anabolic steroids March 15 at the National Bicycle League's Gator Nationals.
TEAM FOLDING: The Gerolsteiner cycling team will fold at the end of the season because it has not been able to find a new sponsor. The German mineral water company joined T-Mobile and Discovery Channel as companies that have pulled out of a sport tainted by doping.
