Angela Stanford won the Bell Micro LPGA Classic golf tournament on Sunday for her second career LPGA Tour title.

She holed a 3 1/2-foot par putt on the final hole for a 1-over 73 and a one-stroke victory over China's 19-year-old Shanshan Feng in Mobile, Ala.

"It's been so long," said Stanford, also the 2003 ShopRite LPGA Classic winner.

The 30-year-old Texan, four strokes ahead entering the day after consecutive 67s in the second and third rounds, had an 11-under 277 total on The Crossings course at Magnolia Grove. She earned $210,000.

Feng birdied the 18th for a 68.

Kim Hall was third at 8 under after a 69.

ALSO SUNDAY

GREATER HICKORY CLASSIC: R.W. Eaks successfully defended his title, closing with a 1-under 71 in windy conditions for a four-stroke Champions Tour victory over Tom Jenkins and Tom Kite at Conover, N.C.

Eaks, 56, had a 16-under 200 total and earned $255,000 for his second victory of the year. He has four Champions Tour wins, all in the past two years.

"It got kind of windy out there, but nobody was really making a run," said Eaks, who has finished no worse than second in the past three years at the Rock Barn Golf and Spa. "I felt that if I just stayed out of trouble and played a nice, safe game today, things might work out."

Jenkins entered the final round tied with Eaks for the lead at 15 under. But swirling wind left Jenkins struggling to find his range on the Robert Trent Jones-designed course.

Jenkins bogeyed the first hole to fall a stroke back, briefly tied Eaks with a birdie on No. 5, then dropped back with a double bogey on No. 6 and bogeys on Nos. 11, 12 and 14. He finished with a 75. Kite shot a 67.

MERCEDEZ-BENZ CHAMPIONSHIP: Robert Karlsson got his first victory in two years, shooting 1-under 71 to win by two strokes over Francesco Molinari in Pulheim, Germany.

The 39-year-old Swede finished at 13-under 275 for his first win since the 2006 Deutsche Bank Championship.

BOISE OPEN: Chris Tidland won his first Nationwide Tour title, closing with a 7-under 64 for a four-stroke victory over Scott Piercy at Boise, Idaho.

Tidland earned $130,500 to jump from 86th to 16th on the money list with $194,480. The top 25 at season's end will earn 2009 PGA Tour cards.
