Gary Roberts had a goal and an assist to lead the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 4-1 win over host Eisbaren Berlin on Sunday in their first NHL exhibition game in eastern Europe.

Tampa Bay is 4-1 in exhibitions with one game to go -- Tuesday in Slovakia -- before opening its NHL season in Prague, the Czech Republic, against the New York Rangers.

Olaf Kolzig, a native of Germany and former member of Eisbaren Berlin, had 34 saves for the Lightning.

RED WINGS 4, THRASHERS O: Rookie forward Ville Leino scored his first goal in Detroit's win over visiting Atlanta.

Chris Osgood made 14 saves for Detroit (2-1-1). Henrik Zetterberg had a goal and an assist, and Mikael Samuelsson and Dan Cleary also scored for Detroit. Jiri Hudler added two assists.

Leino, from Finland, signed as a free agent during the offseason.

WILD 2, SABRES 1 (SO): Andrew Brunette's shootout goal gavevisiting Minnesota the win.

Buffalo goalie Patrick Lalime appeared on his way to a shutout win until Brunette's centering pass deflected off the stick of defenseman Jaroslav Spacek and into the net with 2:57 left in regulation.

BLACKHAWKS 4, STARS 3: Jonathan Toews scored two power-play goals, and newcomer Brian Campbell had four assists in host Chicago's victory over Dallas.

Patrick Sharp and Jack Skille also scored for Chicago, which is 3-0 in exhibition play.

Matt Niskanen, Joel Lundqvist and Loui Eriksson scored for Dallas.

CANADIENS 3, PANTHERS 2 (SO): Alex Kovalev scored the only shootout goal to give host Montreal the victory.

Anthony Stewart and Nathan Horton staked the Panthers to a 2-0 lead with goals early in the first and second, respectively.

Andrei Kostitsyn and Yannick Weber scored power-play goals in the second for Montreal.

CANUCKS 5, DUCKS 4 (SO): Sami Salo had a power play goal and two assists, Kyle Wellwood scored the deciding goal in the fifth round of a shootout, and Vancouver spoiled Teemu Selanne's return to the Anaheim lineup.

Selanne had two power-play goals in his preseason debut after signing a two-year, $5.25 million contract earlier in the day. Corey Perry also had two for Anaheim.
