COMING NEXT WEEK: SPORTS 2.0

On Oct. 6, you'll see something new in your daily and Sunday News & Observer sports section.

Sports 2.0, a new Page 2C feature, will include:

* Occasional fast takes from columnists Caulton Tudor, Luke DeCock, Tom Sorensen and Scott Fowler.

* A look at what readers are saying online.

* The best of The N&O's sports blogs.

* A Monday preview of the week in local sports.

* Sports TV listings, which will continue to run on Page 2C.

The Scoreboard will move inside the sports section, along with a streamlined daily briefs package that will offer a quick look at what's going on in the Triangle and around the nation.

Get it all with convenient home delivery of The News & Observer.
