Ex-Blue Devil signs MLS deal

Former Duke men's soccer standout Michael Videira has signed a contract with the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer. Terms of the deal were not released. Videira will occupy one of the Revolution's senior roster spots.
Selected by the Revolution in the second round and 18th overall in 2008 MLS SuperDraft, Videira chose to pursue options in Europe instead of signing with and MLS club. He signed with Hamilton Academical of the Scottish Premier League in August.
