PAWTUCKET RALLIES: Durham finally got some run support for Jason Hammel (1-5) but couldn't hold the lead in falling 7-4 to Pawtucket at McCoy Stadium on Wednesday.
Durham, which had failed to score in Hammel's previous four starts, led 1-0 in the first on Ben Zobrist's leadoff homer and added three runs on Shawn Riggans' home run in the third.
Pawtucket scored five runs in the fifth to go ahead 6-4. Hammel gave up five hits and six runs in 4 2/3 innings.
