Delta State ends Shaw's season

Delta State jumped on Shaw early and never let up, dominating the Bears for a 45-7 win in the first round of the NCAA Division II playoffs.

Delta State (10-1) advances to play North Alabama.

The Statesmen scored 24 seconds into the game using back-to-back big plays to take the early lead. Delta State would take a 35-0 halftime lead.

The Bears (8-4) got their lone score off of Raymond Williams' 90-yard touchdown run.
