Habich named head coach at Fuquay-Varina

Ryan Habich, defensive coordinator at Fuquay-Varina High School, for the past three years, was named head coach of the school today.

Habich, 32, is a 1995 graduate of Satellite (Fla.) High. He played college football at Mars Hill College and graduated in 1999.

He was an assistant coach in Florida high schools for six years before joining Coach Dave Riggs' staff at Fuquay in 2005.
