Gilbert Arenas insists he won't return to the Washington Wizards if forward Antawn Jamison isn't re-signed by the team."If he doesn't come back, I'm not coming back," Arenas said Wednesday in a posting on his blog, a rambling entry of more than 2,800 words.Arenas, a three-time All-Star who missed most of this season after two operations on his left knee, can opt out of his contract. He has said since before the season that he planned to do that so he could stay with Washington for more money.Jamison, a team co-captain and two-time All-Star, is set to become a free agent."I want to be back in Washington, but weird things happen in free agency," Arenas said on the blog. "If Antawn is not back, then there's no point in me coming back because he's part of my success, too."Arenas and Jamison have been teammates the past four seasons in Washington, and they were together with the Golden State Warriors for two seasons."I know everybody is focusing on whether I'm coming back," Arenas' blog entry said, "but I'm focusing on what he's doing."Arenas has averaged 22.8 points, 5.5 assists and 4.2 rebounds in his seven-season NBA career. Jamison averaged 21.4 points -- his highest output since the 2002-03 season with Golden State -- and a career-best 10.2 rebounds this season, his 10th in the league.Wizards president Ernie Grunfeld, who is scheduled to meet with the media today, has said he would like to have both players back.BYNUM MAY FACE SURGERY: Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum might undergo exploratory arthroscopic surgery on his injured left knee if there is no significant improvement in the next three to four weeks.Lakers spokesman John Black said Bynum was examined Wednesday by Dr. Steven Gecha in Princeton, N.J.Bynum hasn't played since injuring his knee on Jan. 13.HAWKS' WILLIAMS SUSPENDED: Atlanta forward Marvin Williams was suspended one game without pay for committing a flagrant foul, penalty two in the Hawks' Game 7 playoff loss in Boston.The former University of North Carolina player, who will serve the suspension in his first game next season, knocked Boston's Rajon Rondo to the floor with 9:09 left in the third period of the Celtics' 99-65 victory on Sunday.Williams, trying to prevent a breakaway basket by Rondo, put an arm across Rondo's chest and knocked the guard to the floor. Rondo lay for a few minutes while Celtics coaches and teammates checked on him.After reviewing the play, officials threw Williams out of the game.Williams said he didn't try to hurt Rondo.SURGERY FOR MCGRADY: Houston Rockets guard Tracy McGrady could need three months to recover following operations on his knee and shoulder."I don't expect these issues to impact his ability to prepare for the upcoming season," said team physician Tom Clanton, who operated on McGrady's knee.Loose tissue was cleared out of the left knee and left shoulder. McGrady sprained his shoulder against Sacramento on March 24 and wore padding to protect it for the rest of the season, which ended last Friday against Utah in the first round of the playoffs.NETS' JEFFERSON CHARGED: New Jersey Nets forward Richard Jefferson charged with assault Wednesday for grabbing another man by the throat in a Minneapolis club earlier this year.Jefferson's first court hearing is set for June 18.
