Kupono Low converted a penalty kick in the 39th minute to give the Carolina RailHawks a 1-0 win over the Charleston Battery on Saturday night in front of a crowd of 4,462 fans at SAS Soccer Park in Cary.The RailHawks' Jonny Steele was back with the team after being sidelined with an injury. Carolina also rearranged its back line because of David Stokes' suspension.The victory puts Carolina RailHawks (2-1-3) in a tie for third place with the Rochester Rhinos.Next, the Carolina RailHawks go a on a West Coast trip that will take them to Seattle, Vancouver and Portland.The RailHawks return home on June 8 when they will host Rochester at 7:30 p.m.
