Elizabeth Blair Burnette and Ross Scott Hartney were married on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Raleigh with The Reverend Monsignor David Brockman, Vicar General officiating. The brides's parents hosted a reception following the ceremony at The Pavilions at the Angus Barn. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Casa Carbone Ristorante.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Andrew Burnette of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Paul Burnette, Jr. of Rocky Mount and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Joseph Thomas, Sr. of Wilson.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott John Hartney of Seneca, South Carolina. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert George Hartney and the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Walter Krzystofiak of Chicago, Illinois.
Presented in marriage by her parents, the bride was escorted by her father. Allison Brenna Fleming of Winston-Salem served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Marissa Judge, cousin of the bride and Cassidy Ann Cloninger of Raleigh, Chandler Lane Hudson and Mary Scott Whiteley of Washington, DC , and Kaitlyn Megan Murray of Anchorage, AK.

Bryan Thomas Hartney, brother of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Thomas Andrew Burnette, brother of the bride of Raleigh, John Carl Beese of Marietta, GA, William Michael Benham of Boulder, CO, Alexander Andrei Mikhalevsky of Atlanta, GA and Adam Perry-Lee Peake of Greer, SC.
Serving as readers were uncle of the bride, Raymond Joseph Thomas, Jr. of Annandale, VA, Mrs. Lorelei Benham of Boulder,CO and Miss Kathleen Donnelly of Raleigh. Program attendants were Miss Molly Gallaspy of Charlotte and Mrs. Alexander Mikhalevsky of Atlanta, GA.
The bride is a graduate of Clemson University and is currently completing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was presented at the 2009 North Carolina Debutante Ball sponsored by the Terpsichorean Club of Raleigh. The groom graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He is currently employed with Champion Aerospace in Liberty, SC.
After a trip to St. Lucia the couple will reside in Greenville, South Carolina.
