Meredith Alexa Willis and Matthew Alexander Fleck were united in marriage on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at six o'clock in the evening at Ann Street United Methodist Church in Beaufort, North Carolina. The Reverend David Wade officiated in the double-ring ceremony. A reception and dancing followed at The BoatHouse at Front Street Village in Beaufort. The couple departed the reception by boat under a shower of sparklers.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Willis of Beaufort. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Willis Rodecker and the late John W. Willis, Jr. of Beaufort and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Neal Campen also of Beaufort, NC.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Fleck of Wilson, NC. He is the grandson of Loraine Kish and the late Frank Kish of Sunset Beach NC, the late Bruce Fleck of Orlando, FL, and of Jean Bunk and the late William Bunk of Chambersburg, PA.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a cap sleeve tulle ball gown featuring an illusion neckline with a chapel length train. The bodice was embellished with sequins and beaded lace appliques. She carried a bouquet of hydrangeas, blush roses and pink peonies.

The bride's brother, Elliot Willis of Richmond, VA, served as man of honor. Avery Willis, cousin of the bride, of Winston-Salem, NC, served as bridesmaid. Scott Fleck, father of the groom, and Alex Fleck, brother of the groom, of Charlotte, NC served as co-best men. Greeters were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Loose, aunt and uncle of the bride, of Cary, NC.
The bride is a senior at North Carolina State University pursuing a degree in Business Management. The groom graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Engineering and is employed at CREE in Durham.
A rehearsal dinner was given by the groom's parents the night prior to the wedding at Beaufort Grocery Co. in Beaufort, NC. An engagement party, a bridal shower and a bridal luncheon were given by family and friends during the months preceding the wedding.
Following a honeymoon at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC, the couple will make their home in Raleigh, NC.
