Megan Elizabeth Smith and Haddon Manly Clark IV were united in marriage on January 31, 2015 at the Stockroom in downtown Raleigh. The Reverend Colin Snider of First United Methodist in Cary officiated the ceremony. The bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Stockroom following the ceremony. On Friday evening, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the City Club of Raleigh.The bride is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Michael Otis Smith of Huntersville, NC. She is the granddaughter of the late Betty Lofton Smith of Augusta, Georgia, Mr. and Mrs. John Otis Smith of Conyers, Georgia, Maria Duval and the late Robert Norwood Duval of Atlanta, Georgia.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Haddon M. Clark III of Cary. He is the grandson of Mrs. Francis Cain Clark and the late H. Manly Clark, Jr. of Elizabethtown, NC, the late Alma Hobby Sorrell and Philip Adams Sorrell of Cary. The bride and the groom are both graduates of NC State University. The bride is currently teaching in Wake County. The groom works for Sampson-Bladen Oil Company and is currently pursuing his MBA from NC State University.Following their honeymoon in Antigua, the newlyweds will reside in Raleigh, NC.
